From 15th to 17th November, in our school, Istituto Omnicomprensivo in Orte, was held the first trasnational meeting of the staff of the new Erasmus project “GEW-Generation Europe Web”.

Teachers coming  from partner  schools of three  different countries, The Netherlands, Greece and Spain, met on that occasion to get to know one another and to plan the future Staff meetings and study trips with the students.

After a welcoming ceremony and a  speech from our Headmistress,  the teachers started to work on the main issues of the project, focusing on  how to  develop social/digital  entrepreneurship. It was an intensive but a  fruitful and amusing time during which the teachers could compare and share their ideas and proposals as to the project. Apart from hard working sessions, the teachers could also share the different cultural approaches of our  teachers, the hospitality of our people and the generosity of our cooking traditions.

On the second day, the Mayor of our town, Mr. Giuliani, together with the vice Mayor, welcomed the Erasmus staff in the beautiful Palace which is the seat of our municipality. They acted as guides in  the visit of the building, illustrating and commenting the beautiful pictures kept in the Palace.

The Mayor has also expressed his satisfaction to our Headmistress for the European dimension which our school has assumed, thanks to the recurring exchanges with different cultures from various  European countries ,involved in the Erasmus projects.
